I'm sure crash crawler will be able to give you a good idea. I'm sure he will know all the good spots to trail with it also!

I don't know anything about the crawler king. It looks very capable. I stick with Axial rigs because parts are more available. If you plan on buying online you will have no problem getting parts. If you have any questions or want suggestions I can help. Also check www.rc4wd.com they have a lot of options.

The axial ax10 ridgeline is a comparable option. If you want more real looking scx10 dingo, and the comp ready crawler is the Xr10. Check them out. You can see the scx10 in action at www.YouTube.com/TeamCrashRC

i was looking at the axial scx10 ,i kinda like the scx10 dingo kit.but it seems in the long run it would cost more after getting all the electronics and radio, but it seems like it would be fun to build a kit,i have a 4x4 stampede and a 2 wheel drive slash,i could steal the electronics from 1 of those i guess, thanks for the info crawler i will check out that site.

The dingo is a fun kit to build and not very hard. You are correct I have $250 into electronics that's without the radio lol. Also look into the wraith it is more of a rock racer but is very capable and around 400 rtr.

You can get the dingo rtr for about 400 I think. If you get the kit you have a lot of choices. Brushed or brushless? Brushed has more torque and less speed making them very smooth and controllable. Brushless are sometimes jittery at low speed. Drag brake you want that. 180oz. Torque servo or more is a must. If you have any questions let me know.

Well if you are going traxxas servo ( waterproof ). And you plan on going brushless I would look at traxxas venilon its also waterproof. If you are lookin at brushed look at takin fxr and a 35 turn or faster some people are using 27 turn motors. I run Holmes hobbies torque master esc and 35 turn.

If you would like I can make a video comparing the fxr and the torque master. They are around the same price I like the drag brake better on the Holmes hobbies. Let me know if you want to see it and I can film it tonight if you want to see it.
