Greetings from St Clair Shores. I just joined Tuesday 5/8. My son gave me an rc truck for Christmas. He directed me to this forum. It looks good. Can't wait to run my truck at Hawthorne Park

Just a heads up about hawthrone.I run my car there all the time and found with the dirt they put built the track with you want to run a soft compound. Not trying to tell what to buy just hate to see you come all the way out here and not hook up that well.

the 20t may get me to 60mph or better, but I'm gonna need at least a 1/4 mile or bigger track. (and a new clutch bell)....burned it so hot it turned blue go figure.

Yeah, I was having some traction problems out there with the talons...what we really need is a hose to wet the track a bit.
