| New to the site as well as the hobby.
Just checking in to see if there are any of you near Sterling Heights.
Looking for someone who enjoys this as much as i do. Up at larrys often and usually just run in by backyard, thinking of putting a dirt track back there. just looking for new places to run rc's or people that do... |

| Well you found it. A few of us go up to Hawthorne park in Pontiac once a month. Trying to fine somewhere a little closer. |

| Welcome.... You ever goto the dirt track thats by the school on 11 mile between john r and dequinder? well its not a sold track but there are off road dirt hills there clearly for bikes...... which makes a good play ground for rc's.  |

sorry i didnt mention it sooner. i didnt think it was as grand as the track at Hawthorne park. well i kinda still dont think so but it was still fun the last time i went there. The area was clearrly made for bmx bikes. There isnt really a set track there but it looks like there may have been one at 1 time.
Ill go tomorrow or sunday to see if its still there. ill take some recon pics and post them this way you all can see if its worth going.
Personaly i think if you like Hawthorne park, then you will like this place too. |
