A friend has a good size pond in his yard and would like to get an electric boat. Any suggestions?

i have 3 boats, that will most likely be for sale on here shortly, ones a big nikko cruiser(toysrus style), a kyosho viper shell with a motor. and a good running PRP wavemax, kinda fast.. comes with servos, motor, esc, controller but no batteries. if your interested in em or want photos.. jrdemolition@gmail.com, pretty sure i got the wavemax at larrys like 7-8 years ago and ive used it maybe 10 times? as my friend who lived on a lake no longer does so i dont get the chance to use it..

well first thing he has to ask himself is, how fast does he want to go? what style of boat does he like?

There are speed boats, catamarans, hydroplanes, sail boats, tug boats, paddle boats, battle ships, yachts and so on.

What does he like?

I have read quite a bit from rc magazines and going up to the hobby shop and asking the guy a ton of questions. I have heard the miss geico or the traxxas blast are the best way to go if your new to this.

any personal suggestions? have you guys had this out? Im looking to race/ run it harrison township/ poor mans bay/ muscamoot bay.

thanks in advance.

I've heard good things about the Power Vee from Tower Hobbies and is reasonably priced.
