| Welome to the site! I would start with a good layout with a spray can so you can walk though the layout and visualize speed, jumps, the amount of turns, and see how much track you can fix by playing around with different layouts (keep in mind, if you see a lot of high speed potential in your track, adding a woop section, double jump, a couple more turns would help to make the track more challenging.) After you get something set, build up the land. Then pad down the dirt and lightly wet the track, then pad down again(if your making a dirt track.) Plus, using these always makes the track look that much better! http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-100211970/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=drain+pipe&storeId=10051 If you look at one of the hawthorne park threads, you will see a bunch of pics of the layout, hopefully that will give you some inspiration! |
